‘Kenny’ tells the unique story of a man whose life and career became entwined with the fortunes of his adopted city, Liverpool. Known as ’The King’, Kenny Dalglish was revered by fans of the Reds during his time at Liverpool FC, where as a player and manager he amassed no fewer than 27 trophies.

However, arguably his greatest challenge came after the Hillsborough tragedy in 1989, in which 96 Liverpool fans died. After that, Kenny Dalglish became a beacon of hope and strength in the fight for justice for the victims. Uplifting, powerful, funny, but at times truly heartbreaking, this is the portrait of a proud Scotsman who captured the hearts of everyone on Merseyside.
