A production by the prestigious French network ARTE presented by the charismatic Eric Cantona, ‘Football rebels’ is a five-part documentary film that reviews the lives of five football legends that stood out for their political and social positioning in their respective countries. The examples of Didier Drogba, Carlos Caszely, Rachid Mekhloufi, Predrag Pasic and the mythical Sócrates are vindicated because, as Cantona states at the beginning of the film ‘nowadays football is more necessary than ever, because thanks to it we can change the world’.
